Every year in August, NMGA hosts our annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Roadrunner Food Bank.  2014 was a huge success! NMGA donated over $7000 in proceeds from the Golf Tournament to the Roadrunner Food Bank.  Please call the NMGA office if you have questions on how to participate in the next Golf Tournament.

The Food Industry Self Insurance Fund of New Mexico is YOUR alternative to purchasing commercial insurance. We will provide the Worker's Compensation coverage you need.

Members of the New Mexico Grocers Association and the New Mexico Restaurant Association joined forces by "pooling" together their Worker's Compensation premiums to create the Food Industry Self Insurance Fund of New Mexico (FISIF). We provide state-approved "self-insurance" coverage for YOUR business.

This means your Association has formed a Worker's Compensation insurance program owned by the policy holders.

The Food Industry Self Insurance Fund of New Mexico is supervised by a Member's Board of Trustees. This assures the program is operated in your best interest.

Your premium dollars are held on deposit in secure investments, thus interest income is generated into the Fund.

Since the program is not-for-profit, all money not used to pay claims or necessary administrative expenses is refunded to the members as determined by the FISIF Board of Trustees.
